Dunk Island
When I first (and last) visited the continent of Australia 5 years ago, one of the places that me and my ex wife visited was Dunk Island. Dunk Island is a family resort style, tropical island off the northeast coast of the country. We spent three days there and had a good time. I hoped to make a return trip sometime in 2009 or 2010, but with the ongoing recession, that might not be doable. A viable substitute might be Hawaii. I’ve been looking through the Travel section of the Sunday edition of the San Francisco Chronicle for Hawaii Travel Deals that will fit my budget.
