My parents, grandparents, and my in-laws all demand that we provide them with lengthy lists of what we would like to receive for Christmas.  Each year, I take the time to write up separate christmas gift ideas for each couple and try to come up with unique ideas for my two children, my husband and myself. However, every year, it never fails, that when I ask them for lists in return, either I don’t get any lists until the week before Christmas or I don’t get a list at all. There is something definitely wrong with this situation. Maybe I should hold our lists hostage until I get lists from them.
