Grand Teton Day Hikes
The Grand Teton National Park, which covers over 500 square miles, was established in 1929 and it is one of the most beautiful national parks you will find anywhere in the world. The jagged mountains of the park surrounded by vast plains, lakes and rivers of stunning beauty make Grand Teton day hikes the most enjoyable and memorable which you will ever experience. The park hosts more than 200 miles of hiking trails and provides trails for hikers of all different levels of fitness and experience. And, for those who enjoy longer hikes, then backpacking through the Teton Crest provides a fabulous 40 mile hike on the southern border of the park with a couple of overnight stops along the way. This is undoubtedly one of my favorite hiking areas, not simply in the United States but indeed anywhere in the world.
