A good probate question would be what probate is. Probate is simply when someone dies and has assets and the courts step in to oversee the allocation of those assets. The beneficiaries must hire an attorney to represent the decedent. After you have found an attorney, you will have to get a list of all the assets of the decedent. Then find an appraiser for the different types of assets whether it is a forensic accountant or a real estate appraiser. It is more cost effective for the family to hire all these individuals as oppose to the attorney. Be patient during this time consuming process.
