Mergers happen.  It has happened to me 4 times for 10 years.  So you can just imagine the anxiety it brings to all the employees every time it would happen. Mergers bring on release of employees because of redundancy.  There were employees who wanted to go and there were employees who wanted to stay and somehow those who wanted to stay were let go and vice versa.

I do not know if the company knows Navision during that time. And if they were able to read Navision White Paper.  Probably if they knew how inexpensive it is, they would have considered it.  I have to check though and even if I am not there now, I can probably recommend it to the HR head whom I am very close with.
