Our friends and neighbors have more property than we do, and they have developed more of it, with fruit trees and roses, and many different flowers and bushes.  My girlfriend loves her privacy and has asked her husband to install one of the home security kits with camera so that she will know who is coming down their road to visit them.  Her husband delayed installing it for a few years, until he come home one day to discover the deer had been at all his roses, leaving just empty stems; the fruit  trees were pretty decimated as well.  The next day he began installing a huge deer fence.
