When I got my new puppy, I wanted to know how to train him quickly and effectively. When I asked my friends how they trained their dogs, they told me that they smacked their dogs when they went to the bathroom in the house, chewed up a slipper or a shoe, bit someone, or barked incessantly. I wasn’t comfortable with the idea of smacking my new puppy. That would be like smacking a child,a nd I could never do that. There had to be a better way to train my puppy. I watched a video on hands off dog training. It taught me how to train my dog without hitting or smacking him.
