Avoid Musty Smells with Wood Doormats
Whenever we get a good rain at my house, the mats outside the front and back doors seem to stink for a few days. As they dry out, I’m sure there is some mold and mildew that starts to build up. To avoid this problem, I decided to make the switch to wood doormats. These types of mats are usually made out of cedar and are naturally decay and weather resistant. They will dry out quickly and will not rot which means they will last for many years. They also have a very nice smell to them which radiates throughout the front and back areas.
