I wanted to fit a stove in my lounge, but I did not want something that looked too traditional, because my lounge is done in a contemporary style, and if I fitted a stove which looked antique in anyway it would destroy the overall look. However, I found a solution by asking a friend, who suggested I fit a tile stove, since many of these stoves are now designed to fit in rooms that have been designed to fit a contemporary decor such as my own. I took a look at some of these on the Internet, and was amazed at how modern they look, even though the method of heating is a traditional one. I ordered one online and had it fitted within a few weeks, and now I have a traditional source of heat which does not detract from the contemporary look of my room.
