I am really interested in health topics as well as news about fitness or dieting. I have some magazine subscriptions on this topic, but from time to time I also search the internet for such news. However, I have to say that the rate of reliable and relevant health information you get is fairly low. Most of the time you end up at some site, that tries to sell you some diet pills, health pills or fitness equipment that you have never heard about before.

For me this is really annoying. I don’t want to buy something - I only want to get some general information on the newest findings of health and diet research. Is this asked too much?

The only websites that you can rely on are the sites of big newspapers and magazines, but there the section on health, fitness and dieting is usually rather small. On the other hand they really provide high quality information that is up to date and this is why I look at those sites most of the times.

There are also some smaller health and diet blogs that post information on the topics I am interested in regularly and that I really appreciate. My advice is to do some intensive research on sites that publish health, fitness and diet news and if you have found one that you really enjoy reading, to really stick to it.
