I need to get some Iowa Tourism Information about the western part of the state. I’ve been throughout most of Iowa but the west side I’ve never stopped to smell the roses. There is a big look out tower right off of interstate 680 that I’ve been up on, but that’s about it. I would love to go explore the Loss Hills area over there. There is something like only one other place in the world were the hills were formed the same way these were formed. The hills are mostly protected so I don’t know just what the rules are for exploring them but there are parks where the rangers can explain that.
