I certainly have vivid memories of church as a young boy. Most of all I recall how hard the darn pews were. For some reason I wasn’t allowed to bring a pillow or cusion with me…I don’t know why. Was I supposed to be able to pay MORE attention while being so uncomfortable?

Turns out times are changing and more and more churches are realizing the more comfortable the church furniture is, the less likely it is that you’ll be distracted from the message by wriggling your rear end around trying to restore blood flow to your legs. Padded pews are now all the rage in new church furnishings.
